ARC Abrasives, Inc.

Organization Overview
ARC began in 1960, when Zerla and Si Stayman’s dream of starting their own business came true in the small town of Troy, Ohio. Using their garage as home base, they employed their very own kitchen Mixmaster™ to blend the adhesive for the Adhesive Research Company’s first product – the PSA disc.
Following the success of our PSA discs, we continued to introduce new products such as cartridge rolls and other specialties. A new facility was built in the mid 80’s to meet the demand for more space. Here we began production of belts, quick-loks and flap discs. Soon after, we cemented our reputation for outstanding customer service by being the first abrasive supplier to offer a 24 hour delivery guarantee.
2016 was a year of exciting change for all of us at ARC. Under the second generation leadership of Anthony Stayman, we relocated to a new, 68,000 square foot facility in Troy, OH. We continue to expand product offerings and are vertically integrating a new line of 3-D abrasives called Z-Web.
ARC is not only one of the nation’s largest abrasive converters, we are also a manufacturer of nonwoven abrasives. ARC is committed to innovation while staying true to our vision and core values.
