Speakers

Rob Hanson, CFA

Portfolio Manager

Rob is a seasoned investment professional with over two decades of experience in equity research and portfolio management. Since joining Vontobel Asset Management in May 2017, he has been an integral part of the Quality Growth team, initially serving as a Research Analyst. In this role, he collaborated closely with the Chief Investment Officer and portfolio managers, focusing on company research and stock selection within the industrials, materials, and real estate sectors.

 Before his tenure at Vontobel, Rob built a solid foundation in financial analysis at Deutsche Bank, analyzing Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) as well as the home building and building products sectors.

 Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Corporate Reporting and Analysis from Boston College and is a CFA® charterholder .

Dr. Patrick Wall

Economist

 Dr. Wall is an economist and finance professional with over 15 years of experience spanning Wall Street and academia. He has deep expertise in private credit, macroeconomics, and financial modeling, having held senior roles at Deutsche Bank, National Australia Bank, and Westpac.

 Currently a Lecturer in Economics at Seton Hall University, Dr. Wall teaches courses in macroeconomics, econometrics, public finance, and international economics. His academic research focuses on macroeconomic theory, economic growth, and heterogeneous agent modeling. Current projects explore the formation of human capital in aging societies, evidence of the Ben-Porath effect in U.S. public data, and liquidity contagion in private credit markets.

 He holds a Ph.D. and MBA from Fordham University and a Bachelor's in Engineering from the University of Galway.
